Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at Hotel Apartamentos Gaivota. The rooms were very spacious, almost too spacious, with a little balcony on the street side, but overlooking building work next door in a gloomy courtyard. The living room was large with a table for 6 and a small but complete kitchen, yet the atmosphere felt soulless with white walls and bedding, lacking any color.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though small, offered a fascinating view of the harbor, where the 'mini bar' was supposed to be in my room. The service was excellent, with helpful staff available on all shifts. The location was convenient, near restaurants and within walking distance of key sights in the city. However, the dining options had a limited selection, and the facilities lacked additional amenities.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with an ocean view, complete with a kitchenette, resembling a hotel suite with a bedroom, lounge, kitchen, and large bathroom. However, the rooms are starting to show their age and could benefit from a remodeling. The lack of sufficient cooking utensils was a minor inconvenience.
