I had a mixed experience at Hotel Apartamentos Gaivota. The rooms were very spacious, almost too spacious, with a little balcony on the street side, but overlooking building work next door in a gloomy courtyard. The living room was large with a table for 6 and a small but complete kitchen, yet the atmosphere felt soulless with white walls and bedding, lacking any color.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though small, offered a fascinating view of the harbor, where the 'mini bar' was supposed to be in my room. The service was excellent, with helpful staff available on all shifts. The location was convenient, near restaurants and within walking distance of key sights in the city.
